It's in a different key than Johnny plays it in, but you can play around with a capo to put it wherever you want to sing it. (I use capo 4, personally) The chords are simple, but I don't know most of their names. It's essentially a G, C, D, A and Em song, but each chord is "anchored" by your ring and pinky fingers on the third fret, 5th and 6th strings. They never leave that place through the whole song, and it hurts after a little while but you get used to it. So, they look like this: (x = mute string) G: 3x0033 A: x02233 C: x32033 D: xx0233 Em: 022033 It helps a lot if you really emphasize the bass notes, and just let the pick play over the higher strings. The other thing is, the rhythm changes a few times throughout the song from 4/4 time to 3/4 time. If you don't know what that means, listen to the song, and you can probably figure it out. I usually end it on a C. It's really pretty that way. Sometimes on an upstroke. It's all tinkly and stuff. I like it. There, that's it. I hope it makes sense, I sometimes tend to be a bit more specific than I need to when I do these but I guess that might be a good thing. You didn't think I'd forget the solo did you?!? Here it is. I would play it on the two top strings, personally, but you could put it together anywhere you want, really! It sounds better if you slide like crazy from note to note.
