Hans Pedersen Myre had three sons, all died childless:

1. Jens Hansen Myre was a crookback (krogrygget). A document dated 1541confures him the position of canon (kannik) in Lund. On July 4, 1574 he sold Myregård, 9' Vdg. Østermarie, and one of the Klinteby farms, the 20' Vdg. Ibsker, to Peder Oxe. Jens died in Lund in 1575.

2. Truid Hansen Myre, owner of Myhregård in Nylars. Truid Myre is mentioned by name in a 1551 lawsuit in Malmø, and in 1555 in another lawsuit on Bornholm. He complained in 1558 to the king about Vassal (Lensmand) Lage Urne, who was not pleased at Truid having free-man status. Sought in 1552 to lay entire Arnager fishing village beneath his jurisdiction, this attempt failed. On March 30, 1558 he was the spokesman for Bornholm's free-men to King Christian the 3rd regarding exemptions in payment of the land-assistance-tax (landehjælpeskat), the exemptions were denied. Was probably without any descendants, as his sister inherited Myregård in Nylars and in Olsker. He died circa 1574,and his gravestone was placed in Olsker Church's porch (Ols kirkes våbenhus). According to Sigvard Mahler Dam he was married to a daughter of Hans Pedersen of Vellensgård.

3. Peder Hansen Myre, a nobleman born on Fuglsangsgård, 6' Vdg. Ibsker. He owned Store Myregård in Åker, and from 1547 he owned a farm in Vestermarie parish which was not numbered, it was refered to as 'Peder Myhres gård'; also known as Lille Vestergård, later called Fogedagerhuset. On September 6, 1572 a meeting was held by Bornholm's Parliament to establish who had the right to the status of 'Frimand'(Free-man) on Bornholm; Peder Myre is named as being one of the 17 men in attendance at the 'Frimandsmødet'. Peder Myre died in 1572, and as he had no sons the family-farm went to his relative Mette Hansdatter, the wife of Peder Hansen Uf.

Conclusion: The fact that Mette Hansdatter's daughter Margrethe/Merete Pedersdatter (Uf) inherited Myre-family farms places a great deal of weight in favour of Mette being a close relative of Hans Pedersen Myre(died 1518) of Fuglsangsgård. Some think that Mette is Hans Pedersen Myre's sister. Yet the evidence points to Mette Hansdatter having the 'Hummerklo' coat-of-arms. Hans Pedersen Myre's three sons all died childless, so their estates would have gone to a sibling, or to their father's siblings or their heirs. The assertion that the coat--of-arms on the Klemensker pew-door and church-bell were dedicated to the parents of Peder Hansen Uf and his wife Mette Hansdatter points to Mette being the daughter of Hans Pedersen and Poul Olsen's daughter of Bjergegård in Vestermarie parish. The ancestry of n.n. Poulsdatter is known, however little is known about Hans Pedersen's parents. Like Hans Pedesen, his father probably had the 'Hummerklo' coat-of-arms, and as such would not have been a member of the Myre-family. This provides us with closest opening for a close connection between Mette Hansdatter and the Myre-family: possibly Mette's father's mother is the daughter of Hans Pedersen Myre (died 1518) of Fuglsangsgård?

After 1060, when Bishop Egino from Dalby Abbey came to Bornholm to
convert the Bornholmer's to Christianity, the 6' and 20' Vdg. in Ibsker
were given as a gift to Dalby Abbey, which in 1303 transfered ownership
of them to Lund Cathedral. The farms must have been transfered to the
nobleman (adelsmanden), and free-man (frimand), Truid Myre, for after his
death a probate judgement, dated June 29, 1489, transfered the farm, then
known as Fuglsangsg?, to his son Peder Myre. The farm is now known as
?tre Klinteg? and is one of the Klinteby-farms The Myre-family has
its origins in Sk? (aka Scania, in Sweden).
